We have finally succumbed tonight and let the next door neighbour's grandson come round to play with the boys in the garden. We've spent the whole of lockdown telling them they have to keep apart and they've spent almost every day in their separate gardens talking over the fence which has been hard for them all. Don't judge me for breaking the rules....it's been stressful.
I mentioned previously that George has been puking over the fence A LOT. The neighbour has been amazing and she just comes out and throws water on it and tells me off for apologising all the time. I'm so glad she's so understanding about it because as you can imagine, I'm mortified every time he does it.
As soon as her grandson came round into our garden tonight, George took that to mean he could go into next doors garden too, so he climbed over the fence and started running around which the neighbour thought was very amusing. Before we know what's happening, he says "Pat, I'll just get some water for the sick." There was no sick on this occasion, but nevertheless he shot off into her kitchen and came back out a minute later with her washing up bowl full of water. He threw most of it onto the path by the fence....
.....and then turned round and chucked the rest over Pat.
Thank God she knows him well and she saw the funny side.
You’ve got to love his sense of humour!!🥰🥰🥰🌈
Bless him... it has been a warm day so maybe she needed cooling down!!! Xx
